Go live in one afternoon

You can have a working property — guests scanning, requests landing, staff responding — in a single afternoon. Do these four things in order and leave the rest for later.

01Add your rooms

In the admin console, open Rooms and add every room by its number. You can paste a range (for example 101–120) to create a floor at once, and each room gets its own QR token automatically.

Room numbers are what guests and staff see, so match the numbers on your doors exactly. You can rename or renumber later without breaking anything.

02Turn on the services guests can ask for

Open Services and enable the ones you actually offer today — towels, cleaning, wake-up calls, a taxi, and so on. Every service has a department that owns it and a response-time SLA, both of which you can tune later.

Start small. You can go live with five services and add the rest over your first week; an empty service is worse than a missing one.

03Create your first department

Most properties start with a single Front Desk queue and split into Housekeeping, Kitchen and Maintenance once the volume justifies it. Requests route to the department that owns the service, so one queue is enough to go live.

Add your staff and set each person's role so they only see the queue that is theirs — see “Roles, permissions and what each one sees”.

04Print and place the QR cards

From Rooms, print the QR cards for every room and place one where a guest will find it — bedside, desk or behind the door. The moment a guest scans, they are in a portal already tied to that room.

That is live. Watch the first few requests come through the staff board, adjust an SLA or two, and fill in your menu and hotel information over the coming days.

Didn't answer your question? Raise a ticket and a person will get back to you.
