A Kochi hotel serves guests in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, English, Arabic and German in the same week. Asking the front office to maintain six versions of the breakfast timings is how you end up with six versions that disagree.
One source, generated variants
Managers edit in English. Translations are generated and cached per section, with a review flag if the source changes. Staff can override any generated string, and the override survives future regeneration.
Chat is different
Chat is translated in both directions live, with the original text kept underneath so a bilingual staff member can check it. Nobody is shown a translation without a way to see what it came from.
